International shipping

Guess what? We now can ship internationally! We will be using Fed Ex for our international shipping. The price for this will be $22.00 for most places. We have not yet gotten this set up on our website, but should very soon. In the meantime, if you would like to ship something international, just email us and we can take care of it. We have had several inquiries about international shipping in the past, and we apologize for just now having this ready. So all of you who need this service, go to www.pocketknivesrus.com and start shopping!

Case XX Knife Patterns

Posted: Sunday, September 13, 2009
Do you collect Case knives? Have any old ones you would like to identify? Check out our page on pattern numbers for Case XX knives.

Case Cutlery uses a unique pattern number to identify their knives. This pattern number is stamped into the tang of the knife blade. With this pattern number you can find out exactly which style your knife is. Whether it's a trapper, stockman, peanut, or folding hunter. Each style has a unique number to identify it. Find the pattern number on your knife, find it on the chart, and know exactly which style you have.

Case knives are highly collected and have been around for over a hundred years. With all the many different patterns made over the years, its nice to be able to go back and identify one. I personally like the different ways they mark their knives. Just by looking at the markings on a Case knife, you can tell the handle material, pattern, and what year it was made. Its nice to be able to know all these things without keeping up with anything other than the knife itself!

Hello all,
Here at Pocket Knives 'R' Us, we want more than to just sell you pocket knives. We would like to be a site where people can come to learn about pocket knives as well. For instance, to be able to find information on choosing the right pocket knife, or information on how to care for your pocket knife. We have some great ideas for some things to come. For now, we have just added a learning center to our site. It is kind of basic for the time being, but we hope to soon be adding some things everyone might find useful. You can find this new page in our navigation menu on the left side of our site, under "learning center". Here is a direct link if you would like to take a look now: http://www.pocketknivesrus.com/learning-center/. If you have any ideas on something you might like to see here, let us know by sending us an email, using our contact us page, or you can use the comment option under this blog post. We hope you all will find something helpful.
